The "Cannibal Cave" along the southwest coast. There are rumors of cannibalistic behavior at this site. I climbed into the cave, following the path along the right side of the picture. It was a pretty treacherous climb.

Petroglyphs in a cave along the southwest coast.

On my last day on the island I went back to Rano Raraku. It rained hard all day long, but there was a brief pause where I was able to get some photos clowning around with the statues. Here I am pondering the mysteries of Easter Island.

The Denver Post has a feature in their travel section where they publish reader vacation photos while holding a copy of the paper. I'm going to submit this shot.
